Job purpose and key deliverables Requirement Overview
The Area Sales Manager'responsibility will be to provide Leadership
through Planning, Implementation, Evaluation, Management of relation- ships with both Internal and external stakeholders, coaching and development of team, ownership of infrastructure & processes aimed aTrade Marketing and Distribution (TM&D) excellence.

KeResponsibilities
  • Manage the appointed distributor to deliver volume objectives and grovalue with Profit & Loss accountability.
  • Grow and defend market share through winning portfolio strategy and successful implementation of key brand initiatives.
  • Accountable for Performance Management, Learning & Developmenand Talent Management of the Trade Marketing Team and Distributorstaff (including Distributor senior managementeam).
  • Deliver area financial objectives bforecasting business requirements;
  • Implementation of pricing strategy, management of annual budget with corrective actions to deliver value
  • Eective management of Point of Purchase (POP) activities treflect cycle planning and brand portfolio strategy
  • Management of Key accounts, planning & implementation of short & long term strategies in line with overall business objectives
  • Eective management of the supply chain to meet the strategic business objectives; optimization of stocks levels through proper forecastingre-distribution schedules to heighten working capital and improvefficiency.
  •  Ensure the Company's & Distributor'teams in the area operate as per regulatory framework.
  • Drive unnecessarcosts out of the business and mirror the same for the distributor through business reviewby identifying specific areas ofcosreduction.
Essential requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree, preferably a Business degree in Business Administration / Marketing;
  • At least 4 years' experience in an FMCcategory or busy environment.
  • Minimum 4 years TM&D Management with good knowledge of TM&D best practice and demand forecasting;
  • Proven people leadership skills with ability to motivate and energise field force team.
