A reputable and rapidly expanding Social Security Institution is currently seeking to recruit suitably qualified and competent Tanzanians. The incumbent is expected to perform his/her duties in line with the Institution rules and regulations to ensure a better end results.
Chief Accountant (ONE POST) DUTY STATION: DAR ES SALAAM
The Chief Accountant is responsible for - Heading the Accounts and Finance Department, designs and reviews accounting procedures, ensures application of the Fund's Accounting Manual and Financial Regulations, prepares and maintains separate books of accounts, prepares relevant financial reports, reviews and approves financial reports, checks monthly bank reconciliation statements and payrolls, prepares annual accounts, prepares replies to internal and external audit queries, approves payments and signs cheques, assists the DFA to prepare annual budget, and ensures effective cash flow management. Candidates to this position should have Masters Degree in Finance or Business Administration and CPA (T) or equivalent and should be a certified Public Accountant registered by NBAA, plus eight years of relevant experience of which three must be at senior position in a reputable institution. Should have advanced computer knowledge in computerized financial management. Age limit between 40-45 years old.
