Resourcing Specialist




Resourcing Specialist Serengeti Breweries Ltd (SBL) operates exclusively in Tanzania and is the 2nd largest beer company with a market share of close to 30%.  SBL is a subsidiary of East Africa Breweries Ltd (EABL) – which is partly owned by one of the world's biggest alcoholic beverage companies, DIAGEO. The company is an integrated demand/supply business with 3 operational breweries in Dar Es Salaam, Mwanza, and Moshi. The company boasts famous locally brewed brands, such as Serengeti Premium Lager, Tusker Lager, Tusker Light, Kibo Gold, Pilsner Lager, Senator just to name a few. The spirits folder is filled with world-class brands from abroad – including Smirnoff, Johnnie Walker, Baileys, J&B and Gordon's.

Key Purpose of the role
The Resourcing Specialist is responsible for supporting and executing the end-to-end resourcing process.  They are a key contact with both internal and external candidates and facilitate a seamless resourcing process keeping all participants up to date, informed and effective.  They will directly influence elements of Diageo's/SBL's reputation with new candidates and thus are critical in the resourcing process.

Main Responsibilities 


 
    1.Managing Resourcing Process

  • On receipt of the line manager forms requesting a recruitment activity, verifying the process with the HR Business Partner to proceed to recruit
  • Assessing current talent pools for vacant roles and working with HR Business Partner to identify internal talent for roles.
  • Managing the end-to-end on-line process for the resourcing on Brassring (online candidate management system).
  • Where necessary developing local press Ads to advertise roles in the local media.
  • Managing the annual Early Career resourcing process ensuring that there is talent joining the programme from within the business and externally.
  • Training assessors for the Assessment Centres.
    2.Third party and Candidate interaction
  • Ensuring great candidate experience by ensuring communication including candidate responses during the resourcing process.
  • Ensuring the HR Advisor arranges for interview logistics for candidates.
  • Driving enhanced relationships with external stakeholders as the main point of contact with local agencies to recruit external candidates.
    3.Providing Resourcing Information
  • Analysing metrics, reports emerging trends on resourcing. Producing and supplying on request and as standard reports any relevant statistical information
  • Managing updates of resourcing status and costs on recruitment system.

Qualifications and Experience 
 
  • Graduate in a relevant field
  • Post graduate qualification in HR management / training is an added advantage
  • Exposure to resourcing activity and processes 2-3 years experience
  • Able to demonstrate superior customer service skills
  • Technologically literate and able to pick up and work with multiple systems.
  • Able to demonstrate ability to build strong credible relationships with line managers and HR Managers
  • Detail orientated
  • Highly organized and efficient
