International Recruiter
Responsibilities:
  • Manage complex recruitment assignments that require creative application of social media, networking and referrals to address specific recruitment challenges.
  • Work with proposal and hiring managers to develop scopes of work and job advertisements.
  • Support the recruitment of long-term and short-term expatriates and host country national professionals for staffing new business development proposals and existing development programs.
  • Serve on proposal teams to identify competitive personnel who meet or exceed procurement personnel requirements.
  • Support recruitment efforts by keeping abreast of pending opportunities, in-house resources, and creatively sourcing candidates for specific roles.
  • Follow standardized processes to screen and select the best candidates, ensuring compliance with all governmental and client employment specifications.
  • Assist proposal teams in developing appropriate staffing plans according to proposal requirements.
  • Negotiate candidate salaries and benefits within proposal budget constraints.
  • Work with candidates to develop a winning resume which addresses qualifications required by the client.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of full life-cycle recruitment experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse teams and handle many tasks simultaneously, often with inflexible tight deadlines
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with internal clients and external candidates, both verbally and in writing
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
  • Experience in an international development environment, specifically USAID, preferred
  • High-urgency and creative candidate sourcing experience preferred
  • Experience with compensation and employment rules and regulations under US Government-funded activities preferred
  • Experience living or working in a developing country preferred
