The Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) safeguards the public interest in sound standards of higher education qualifications and informs and encourages continuous improvement in the management of the quality of higher education.
QAA is seeking to appoint a dynamic and proactive Business Development Coordinator to help manage and grow its substantial portfolio of international contracts, training and consultancy activities.
With higher education rarely out of the news, this is an exciting time to join QAA, which safeguards standards and drives improvements in UK higher education. This opportunity offers the chance to support and shape QAA's business development activities as we continue to grow our international training and review activity.
You will join a small team that is key to generating and coordinating the development and delivery of income generating activities for QAA, working with colleagues from across QAA and liaising with clients from all over the world. You will manage project set up and reporting requirements and marketing activity, as well as setting up training events and facilitating client meetings.
Ideally, you will have experience of a client facing and/or project officer role in an education or commercial setting, and the development and marketing of services to meet client needs. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service to a variety of audiences. You will be well organised, self-motivated and have a strong ability to plan and manage projects.
This is a fixed term post for up to 12 months to cover a secondment. The starting salary for this post is£20,808.
This role is largely based in our Gloucester office but may involve travel throughout the UK.
