Fintrac is seeking a highly qualified candidate to propose as its Chief of Party for an upcoming USAID-funded agriculture development project in Uganda.
The Chief of Party, a seasoned agriculture technician, will provide leadership to a national team of technicians and managers implementing an agricultural production and marketing program targeting smallholder farmers.
The Chief of Party must have a demonstrated understanding of East African agriculture issues, ideally inclusive of Ugandan experience. S/he will be responsible for coordinating project activities with a wide variety of industry stakeholders including private sector companies, the national and local governments, donors, community-based organizations, and education institutes.
The position will be based in Kampala, Uganda for five years.
