Administration Assistant - Plan International , Uganda

Plan International Inc. in Uganda was awarded a 5-year Cooperative Agreement under the Northern Uganda- Health Integration to Enhance Services (NU-HITES) project to continue providing technical assistance and capacity building support for Northern Uganda in Malaria, AIDS and Tuberculosis, integrate additional support in Maternal, Neonatal and Child Health (MNCH), Family Planning (FP) and nutrition; while prioritizing the strengthening of district-level health facilities. Under the NU-HITES project, Plan Uganda would like to recruit competent candidates for the following positions:
Administration Assistant (3 Positions) Department & Location: NU-HITES – Gulu/Lira/ Kitgum
Reports to: Operations Assistant at the Main Office; Sub-regional Project Coordinator in the project offices
Purpose:
  • To implement and support all administration activities in compliance with PLAN Uganda, FOB and USAID specific policies and procedures and ensures that such policies and procedures are correctly interpreted, understood and implemented by the staff.
Dimensions of Role:
  • Supervises Drivers, Security Guards, Administration Assistant, Welfare Assistant/Cleaners and any other support staff.
  • Implements identified Administration risks in the department.
  • Regularly communicates to service providers and maintains key relations with all staff.
